I310 Multimedia Arts and Technology
I310 Final Project
Due date: the day of the final, Tuesday December 13, at
midnight. Presentation: Tuesday, December 6.
Guidelines for the final project:
- The project is designed for team work. The team composition is the
same as for the team homeworks.
- It must be work that you do this semester for this class. If you
intend to use a project you've done before for some other purpose,
contact me first to ask permission, and let me know what will be new
about the new version of the project.
- It must be the equivalent of about 3 weeks of work for the class.
- It must be a multimedia project, and that means more that one
medium. Examples: a short movie, an animation, an interactive web
page, and so on.
- You can use any software that you want, either a program that
we've seen in class, or one that you know on your own.
- It must be an original idea and not one that imitates too closely
a homework or a lab that we did together.
Presentation: For in-class students, we will reserve
the last class period, Tuesday, December 6, to showcase the
projects. You don't need to do a full presentation, only to explain
the idea that you had and what you used to do it, and show the work in
progress. Online students must upload a powerpoint or
presentation of the project showing the idea/goal of the project and
some screenshots, also by Tuesday, December 6.
