- You have the option to test-out from world language requirement by contacting the World Languages department.
- Your requirement will be waived if you have taken a single foreign language for 3 years (6 semesters) or more in high school and received a grade of C or better. Meet with your academic advisor with your high-school transcript.
- If you are a native speaker of a language other than English, then contact the college Dean's Office in Wiekamp Building 3rd floor. Also consult with your academic advisor and World Languages department. You will be asked to demonstrate the proficiency in your native language and complete the following form:

Have you completed AP Computer Science A?
- If you got a score of 3 then you will be awarded credits towards CSCI-B 100 Problem Solving Using Computers (4 credits)
- If you got a score of 4 or 5 then you will be awarded credits towards CSCI-C 101 Computer Programming I (4 credits)
Have you completed AP Computer Science Principles?
- If you got a score of 3 then you will be awarded credits towards CSCI-UN 100 Computer Science Undistributed (3 credits)
- If you got a score of 4 or 5 the you will be awarded credits towards CSCI-B 100 Problem Solving using Computers (4 credits)
